Application uses for KOH Briquettes:
Refineries:  KOH briquettes have long been used in the oil and gas industry to remove moisture and other impurities in liquid and dry oil and gas streams.
The Briquette is solid white. It is available in 400-lb. drums and 2,000-lb. super sacks.

Soap manufacture, bleaching textiles and mercerizing cotton, manufacture of potassium carbonate and tetrapotassium pyrophosphate, electrolyte in alkaline storage batteries and some fuel cells (specifically used for alkaline, nickel-cadmium and nickel-metal hydride batteries), absorbent for carbon dioxide, NOx, SO3, and hydrogen sulfide, dyestuffs, liquid fertilizers, herbicides, electroplating, mercerizing, paint removers, reagent, synthetic rubber. Etchant in semiconductor wet processing, photoengraving and lithography, reactant, catalyst and processing aid, pH and alkalinity adjustment, neutralizer and alkalinity control in analytical chemistry, manufacture of high-purity potassium compounds.
